One of a Kind Unique Creations by BANDIT ART!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

BANDIT ART is located in Warburg, Alberta, Canada.

We create one of a kind unique creations.

If you need something that you can't find anywhere else, maybe we can make it for you.

We do custom Hand Engraving, as well as leather carving, wood carving, glass engraving, & many other things necessary to produce a product that you will be proud to either own or give as a gift.
We have a cnc plasma cutter, welding equipment, and access to machine shops so that our services cover a wide range.
It is time to stop buying stuff off the shelf and having your ride look like everyone else.
Make it stand out from the crowd & be that special possession that you want it to be.

We do repairs to Harley Davidson motorcycles, mostly the older models but newer ones can be serviced also.

We can modify your existing ride or create something from scratch for you.

If you have an idea for something, but can't seem to bring it to light, then discuss it with us, maybe we can work out the bits you are having trouble with.

You will find our rates are cheaper than most shops, but the quality of our work is above reproach.
Also, we don't take on a lot of jobs at the same time as we don't work as fast as a dealership or large shop, which means that your job gets closer attention and is done right the first time.

Our imagination and creativity is limitless, so the only restrictions are the depth of your pockets and the time frame that you want to get the job done.

The major thing to remember is to PLAN AHEAD, so that we have enough time to complete the job in a relaxed atmosphere which allows for any problems to be identified before they do any damage.

This is not a store front operation so appointments must be made for visits.

The hours of operation vary, so don't expect us to be here at any given time unless you scheduled it.
Most times we will be available seven days a week.

It is time to stand up and be counted!!

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!

There is a petition that needs the help of All bikers no matter where you are or what citizenship you claim. But mostly we need Canadians to get their head out of their ass and stand up for the rights that they enjoy and are gradually losing.

For all those that want to sign, please use your Real World ID, as anonymous or nick names will have to be remove at the expense of time that will be wasted by the monitors & will also show a false sense of achievement.

Belt Drive Betty has many articles on this, so I will not repeat them.
They are available at the following links:

If you believe that this issue does not concern you, then take a look at what is happening in other parts of the world.

In Australia they have passed laws which limit riders as to who they can associate with, how many can gather at one time, where you can go and when you can go there.
This is aimed at what the LEO's claim are criminal bikers, but it is infringing on the other riders as well.

We are reminded of the words of Niemöller:

First they came for the communist,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the socialist,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionist,
and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

Have YOU signed the petition??

Please do so, and get everyone you know who rides to sign also.

If we do not start to fight back, we will soon not be allowed to ride!!

Dead In 5 Heartbeats

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."
— Dr. Seuss

I watched this movie & found it quite entertaining.
The whole production, from the writing of the book to the production of the movie was done by bikers who turned out a good product.
Some of the camera work was a bit off, but overall was pretty good.
Only two of the cast were familiar to me & that was Dan Haggerty, who I have seen in other productions, such as Grizzly Adams and the other was Sonny Barger in a cameo role.
The performances were good considering most of the cast was from local motorcycle clubs and not actors hired for the roles.
The movie was made by an Independent filmmaker and shot on location, entirely in
Arizona, & completed in 24 days.

Riding With Attitude

'Oh Shit!' is usually the moment when your plan parts ways with reality!

.................................................................................................................................................

I have just read the book by 'Don Norris' called 'Riding With Attitude'.

It is written in a style similar to a collection of short stories. Each story being a memory of an event that happened. Although in chronological order, there are gaps in the sequences, leaving days, months or years between them.
Don was a pioneer of the 1% motorcycle culture in Canada. His passion for riding brought him into a club called 'Satan's Choice' where he escalated to president. His tales of growing up in East End Toronto and the association with the clubs of the era brought back some memories of mine of times spent in the areas that they frequented.
The rise & fall of the original club, which led to it's resurrection as an amalgamation of several clubs under a new leader, is told rather well. I would have like to have more in depth history of this period, but Don has not provided it.
The first half of the book covers his outlaw days, while the second half of the book goes into tales of his transformation into a more settled married life away from the hassles of the 1%ers.
While still having a passion for riding, Don buys a Goldwing with trailer, then proceeds to have many adventurous trips through the US.
He still uses the short story theme, but timelines seem closer together.

I enjoyed the book, and anyone who has an interest in the early days of Canadian Outlaw bikers or the joys of traveling the country on a motorcycle will also find this book quite a good read.

It is available at bookstores or from the author himself.

Hang in there.....     J D Redneck
